WP #3 Live Concert
Jonas Brothers December 7, 2019 @Frank Erwin Center Austin, Texas.
Salomon Marcos
My older sisters took me to my first Jonas Brothers Concert in California, I was 13 years old at the time. I relived this amazing band experience 8 years later at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. The Jonas Brothers consist of 3 brothers named, Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, and Kevin Jonas. The first concert that I went to was the last tour they did due to the band separating. The concert that I went last week was the first tour they did since they regrouped together as a band. The tour that they did was named “Happiness Begins”. They named the tour as their new break out album. The Jonas Brothers are doing a worldwide 1-year tour to bring their popularity back to the top rankings.

This concert was way different than the one I went when I was 13. The first thing that was different was the vibe of the place. As you walked in, you could hear the excitement, the happiness, and the uncontrolled emotions filled with energy of the packed 20,000 people arena. The vibe that was been distributed through the whole stadium was out of this world, this was due to fans waiting 8 years for their 3-boy band to reunite and play their music. The new songs that they released were more upbeat than the ones they released before. They started with the song “Sucker” Sucker Music Video, this song was their hit regrouping song. I could hear the audience sing their chorus “I am sucker for you”. I could feel the emotions of every single person that was around me from singing this chorus. The other thing that was different was that the 3 brothers grew up and matured. When I saw them at first, they were 17-year-old teenage kids. This time they are grown 24-28-year-old man. All through the show I could hear every single girl and sometimes guys yelled “I want to marry you Joe”, “You are so hot Nick, I love you”, “OMG Kevin waved at me”, and many more. The fans not only love their upbeat good lyrical songs, they are in love with the band members due to their physical attractions.

This type of energy was not present 8 years ago. The Jonas Brothers ended their concert with their all-time number 1 hit, “SOS”.
“This is an S.O.S.
Don’t want to second guess
This is the bottom line,
it’s true, I gave my all for you
Now my heart’s in two
And I can’t find the other half
It’s like I’m walking on broken glass
Better believe I bled
It’s a call I’ll never get”
This chorus is the all-time singing high school break up love song that every single girl and boy knows. This song was the best way to end the concert due to the Jonas Brothers bringing back all the memories that the fans and I had during this song release. It reminded the fans why they still love the Jonas Brothers.

The Jonas Brothers have released five albums, “It’s About Time”, “Jonas Brothers”, “A Little Bit Longer”, “Lines, Vines and Trying Times, and their new hit number 1 album “Happiness Begins”. The first 4 album were released in a spam of 4 years, from 2006-2009. Then they took their 8-year break and came back with the last album. The name of the last album has a double meaning. The meaning of it is that the Jonas Brothers are happy to be together again and make the music their fans love to hear. This album consists of very happy, love, and energetic songs that fans can scream to the top of their lungs.

The Jonas Brothers put up great concerts. This is due to the way their songs mean to the fans and how much each individual fan loves them more as a band than as individual artists. The Jonas Brothers are one of kind performers and a very unique boy band.
